Also on the 11th June. Kath had a lovely outing.
She made her way up to Strathclyde University to support Lucy Jones who has been volunteering for us as part of her S6 timetable and has been working hard on a project about the impact on reminiscing in a care home setting.
Lucy worked with three of our residents to support her project and Kath was one of them. Lucy came in each week to have chats with the residents about their interest in music. Lucy then collated all the music and played the songs which the residents had spoke about in their sessions. Lucy has made a huge impact on everyone and the reminiscing activity that she has engaged in has been brilliant.
Kath was honored to have been invited up to support Lucy as she presented her project to others at the university today and presented with a STEM Leader 7 Award.
